Children's Ministries

Nursery Ministry
Chisholm provides a nursery for infants and toddlers with a paid staff who are CPR trained and have a special place in
their hearts for Gods little gifts, our babies.
Nursery is provided during all services:
> Sunday mornings 9:20 am - 12:15 pm
> Wednesday evenings 7 - 8 pm
> Sunday evening services 6 - 7 pm.
Pre-K Ministry
Pre-K kids have a natural love for God and learning. They need to experience, see, touch, taste and smell what they are learning about. With their very own age-appropriate "Hands On Currriculum" by Group publishing, our Pre-K teachers can help Jesus' love become real and exciting.
Pre-k Session 1: Sunday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 am and Session 2: is from 10:30 am to Noon with snacks provided in between. There are combined classes offered on Wednesday evenings from 7 - 8 pm and Sunday evening services from 6 - 7 pm.

At Chisholm our children discover Bible truth and Jesus' love through using "Hands On Bible Curriculum" by Group publishing. With this curriculum our wonderful staff of volunteer teachers can tap into kids' God-given desire to play. Experiment. Wiggle. Discover. The way kids learn best! The children's ministry is for grades K-6th with teaching offered during Sunday school from 9:30 - 10:30 am and in Children's Church during Morning Worship Services.
Kid's - Music & Drama
Chisholm Baptist Church encourages their children to share their faith and learn to worship through dramas and the power of music. This helps the CBC kids experience the joy of creatively communicating the Gospel of Christ. The children's choir and drama team perform throughout the year with special programs during Easter and Christmas.
TeamKID
Our Wednesday evening TeamKID program is a fun, high energy ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and to grow in a relationship with Him. All parts of TeamKID- Bible Stories, Scripture Memory, Missions, Life Application and Recreation connect to teach life lessons to our kids. A key element in TeamKID is recognition for hard work and personal responsibility and encouragement by earning awards and prizes. TeamKIDs meet on Wednesday evenings from 7 - 8 pm.

We are not a social club, a clique, or just a "youth group." Everyone is welcome. The Youth group is more than a meeting group, It's a movement. It's a cause. It's a person. At our group, we strive to be students united in Christ, empowered by Christ, devoted to Christ, even though we come from radically different backgrounds.
What We Do:
Chisholm Youth are involved in many different events and activities. We meet on Wednesdays from 7-8 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Our purpose is to get connected with God in dealing with everyday life issues. We do play some games and occasionally go fellowship over ice cream or pizza, but our real focus is the Word of God.
We meet for Sunday School from 9:30-10:30 am on Sunday mornings in the Fellowship Hall. This time is all about an in-depth bible teaching to bring the Youth to know God's Word. We have dedicated adults who encourage and work with the Youth to guide them in their spiritual growth.
We do have other activities which include paintball, skating, skateboarding, bowling and other fun games. This summer we are planning to go to youth camp, Come worship with us. Women's Ministry: back to top
In the challenging world in which we live, regardless of age, background or social standing, women need other women. This was true in the day of Naomi and Ruth, Elizabeth and Mary and for all women today. We need to share, laugh, rejoice and cry with other women. God made us unique and special.
We strive to reach across generational an social lines to bring women together, with Jesus at the center of our lives. We believe we are commissioned vessels to spread His love, His compassion, His understanding and His acceptance of the broken and the brokenhearted and to minister to each other through our individual experiences. We are all raised up to be spiritual mothers, daughters and sisters to and for each other.
We invite and welcome you to join us and/or visit with us. Our women's ministry has an ongoing curriculum that includes evening bible studies, quarterly brunches with special speakers, Valentine's banquet, Women of Faith conference in August, Mother/Daughter tea, retreats and help with our Vacation Bible School among many other things.
We do have fun, but it is ultimately our heart's desire to minister members and non-members alike and to reach out to a hurting world wherever the Lord directs and to develop in all of us a heart like His!
